Originally from the City of Monterrey, Nuevo León, with a degree in International Studies, her artistic work began in the early nineties when she studied art in Europe and developed professionally in the United States and South America. "Sharing with diverse cultures and living in environments surrounded by art and other disciplines such as music was a pleasantly overwhelming experience."
"Painting represents a totally independent language based on freedom, I discovered that the visual arts, in all their genres, unify the beliefs and ideologies that coexist in humanity." Being in front of a canvas allows the feelings that inhabit me to flow naturally, the different nuances, including extremes such as joy and sadness are mixed to create a story or recognize a memory. There are always stories to be displayed. The experiential journey that we encounter every day is full of cycles that begin and others that end There we find memories, stumbles, loves and reflections of life itself, I am infinitely grateful to be able to express these emotions and share them through painting, recognizing the beauty that surrounds our own nature.
This collection is a tribute to dance and the relationship I have with painting and music. My mother, who past away three years ago, was my main inspiration: a flamenco dancer, sculptor, psychologist and a brilliant mind, the Rapsodia Ballet collection is a farewell to her; however, it is also an opportunity for emotional healing. My Painting projects allow me to sustain in time, an era that I lived and loved. It is also a recognition of the changes that occur in life, the adaptation of our body and soul. Dance, like painting and music are the vehicule that makes transformation possible.
The fussion of our essence and mind makes creativity flourish, giving meaning to the lived experiences and making the expression of our deepest desires possible. The work is a narration of these episodes, where a link with the viewer is established and we find in that momento a free form of expression ".
